My approach

I enjoy listening to my clients’ visions and helping them turn ideas into reality. While I do not seek to bring a particular style to a project, my designs tend to take cues from the local landscape and vernacular architecture. I aim to create buildings that rooted in their setting and a positive addition to our beautiful Chiltern Natural Landscape, using local materials and forms as inspiration.

Complimenting the vernacular

Empathy and understanding

As a mother of four children and owner of two large dogs, I am all too familiar with the challenges of family life and how the home environment can enhance everyday experiences. I get great pleasure from working with clients to unlock the potential of their unique home setting and create spaces that elevate mundane daily chores to become joyous experiences. Given how much time one spends at the kitchen sink, why not give it the best view?

Mundane becomes extraordinary

Detail and craftsmanship

Each project brings its own unique opportunities to blend traditional construction with modern materials and forms. This results in a pleasing contrast between contemporary and vernacular and ensures that even the most bold striking elements compliment their timeless backdrop.

Modern meets traditional
